How to use the age calculator
- Enter the date of birth.
- Leave the second date as today, or choose another date to know the age on that day.
- Press Calculate age.
How it works
The calculator subtracts the date of birth from the chosen date. It counts complete years first, then complete months, then the remaining days, borrowing days from the previous month when needed. It also converts the whole period into days and weeks and counts the days until the next birthday.
You can set the second date to a future or past day, which is useful for checking eligibility ages for school, work or visas on a specific date.
Example
Born on 10 March 2000, the age on 15 June 2026 is 26 years, 3 months and 5 days.
